Wellness Recovery Center Gets A New Home!

LCPRS wishes to thank all who made our grand re-opening successful!

On July 11th, 2023 we had our grand re-opening as we transitioned our Wellness Recovery Center from Dewitt to Clinton. We are happy to say that we have collaborated with Amerigroup Iowa and received $100,000 from them to enhance our capacity to provide Peer-Run Support Services to not only Clinton County, but Iowa statewide! We have the much needed space to support those peers who are working on their recovery with trained Peer Recovery Specialists. This Free Service is available 7 days a week both in person and virtually. We provides things such as, a computer lab, both group and individual peer support, arts & crafts, game & movie night, W.R.A.P wellness tools, an array of resources, and a space for mediation and relaxation. The Wellness Center is a safe place to speak freely and work your recovery in a way that is best for you. All the staff here at the center are trained by the state and have a lived experience themselves. Click on the links below to learn more.
