While visiting Dewitt for a fundraiser at Murphy’s Pub on October 5, 2023 Governor Kim Reynolds, State Rep. Norlin Mommsen, and County Board of Supervisors Jim Irwin stopped by to visit Life Connections Peer Recovery Services; along with Sheriff Bill Greenwalt and Amerigroup’s Recovery Resilience Mgr. Todd Lange, the Governor listened while guests staying at Rhonda’s House openly shared they’re personal struggles & recovery journeys. She also learned what it meant for them to have Rhonda’s House available to them, along with the many resources we have to offer. Todd, our executive director shared with her what recovery looks like through a peer run respite and our partnership with Amerigroup. The afternoon was filled with beautiful stories of hope and resilience. Peer run respites and organizations offer that hope. Together we can recover.
