A big welcome to Yoda! LCPRS’s emotional support dog.
Yoda has been such a treat to have here at Life Connections Peer Recovery Services! He was born on August 23, 2022, he is an Australian Shepard Pug mix. The decision came easy when the staff was asked if we wanted a support animal for the organization. The name not so much, we all had our own ideas. Once the little guy came to us on November 2, 2022, we all put our name choices for the little guy in a hat and drew out Yoda. He settled in his name rather quickly and it seemed to fit perfectly!

He has been registered as an emotional support animal with the US Service Animal Organization. The guests both at Rhonda’s House & the Wellness Center are finding interaction with him beneficial.

He is a born natural at supporting both the staff & guests here at LCPRS and for now Yoda is getting used to wearing his vest on outings, and will be attending training classes in the near future.
