Hey everyone! My name is Aubrie, I started working for Life Connections Peer Recovery Services at Rhonda’s House in February of 2023. I have since moved on to the Wellness Center in Clinton and I am also the MAT (Medicine Assisted Treatment) clinic advisor at the MAT clinic also located in Clinton. I’m a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist and just recently completed my Peer Recovery Coach training. I am also a W.R.A.P Seminar 1 facilitator and have my Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. One thing I’m most proud of is that I work with the DART team in Clinton by providing help & support to those who want a better life. Working for Life Connections gives me the opportunity to help others who need support and resources. Recovery has been my way of life for the past 2 years and will remain that way. Recovery has allowed me to change my life for the better and now I’m able to bring hope to the hopeless and help change negative perspectives to that of positive ones. For me, I worked the 12 steps, acquired a sponsor for accountability and was able to regain my life & family. Everyone’s recovery is different, my hope is to give back to those who want to the same thing. In my free time I enjoy spending time at AA meetings and being surrounded by my sober community, but most of all I enjoy hanging out with my 3 boys and playing video games.
